Shift: 12-Hour Nights
⏱ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We are currently seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a fast-paced acute care setting caring for both adult and pediatric patients.

Unit Details:

• 20-bed Medical Surgical Unit
• Adult geriatric and pediatric patient population
• Excellent staffing ratios:
  • Non-COVID: Typically 4:1, max 5:1
  • COVID: Typically 2:1, max 3:1

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adult and pediatric med-surg patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to qualified departments as needed
• Assist with flu immunization clinics if assigned
• Attend staff meetings and maintain compliance standards

Requirements

• Active Arizona RN License required
• Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg experience required
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required
• Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA)
• Previous acute care experience required
