The Lead Host supports and guides the host team with a focus on hospitality and maximizing the dining room. This role serves as the main point of contact at the host stand during each shift, ensuring the floor is efficiently driven and the guest experience is seamless.

This is an entry-level leadership position scheduled during peak shifts, with elevated expectations around communication, accountability, and service flow. The Lead Host plays a key role in leading the team and driving the floor with purpose and pace. This role can be the launch pad of your career. Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18years of age
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months’ experience in a high-volume restaurant, Full Service preferred
- Food Handlers Permit
A Day In The Brunch Life
As the Driver of the front door, the Lead Host keeps the OLO board moving, monitors server rotations, adjusts pacing, and communicates with both the Squad and management to ensure VIPs are greeted, seated, and celebrated. They are responsible for quoting accurate wait times based on OLO predictions and maintaining clear, friendly communication with VIPs throughout their experience.
- Drive the floor: manage the OLO board, control the pace, seat with intention
- Maintain proper server rotation and maximize the dining room
- Handle guest concerns and loop in management when needed
- Ensure all new hosts are trained and supported
- Takes responsibility for the full front door experience
- Keeps the team focused, organized, and guest-focused
- Collaborating with management to deliver seamless, VIP-first service
- Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
- Knowledge of the menu.
- Assisting with other positions in the restaurant as needed.

At Hash Kitchen, breakfast classics are remixed and reimagined! We are a buzzy brunchery with Instagrammable, creative daytime dishes and an exceptional, interactive build-your-own bloody Mary bar. Guests get to customize their cocktail from start to finish with house made bloody Mary mixes, house-infused spirits, and over 50 craft toppings. Our innovative concept combines chef-driven food and an elevated cocktail program with a next-level atmosphere. Complete with social-media-worthy wall art and rotating guest DJ's and turntables on the weekends.
Working Conditions:
Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse and manipulating a keyboard with hands, reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non- sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
