Land Survey Project Manager Company: HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Land Survey Project Manager to join one of our valued client partners. This opportunity is designed for an experienced Arizona Registered Land Surveyor who possesses strong project leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to manage surveying operations from proposal development through final project delivery. The ideal candidate will be a proven surveying professional with extensive experience leading teams, managing client relationships, maintaining project profitability, and ensuring technical excellence across complex surveying projects. HireNow Snapshot The Land Survey Project Manager will oversee land surveying projects while ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, budget management, staff development, and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of Arizona surveying requirements.Project Management & Execution
- Develop project scopes and prepare cost proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and project agreements.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain project profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Arizona surveying regulations and standards.
- Apply expertise in the Public Land Survey System (PLSS).
- Ensure adherence to Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards.
- Support projects involving ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Review survey deliverables for technical accuracy and quality.
- Maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with municipal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Support business development initiatives and client growth opportunities.
- Communicate project progress and expectations effectively.
- Foster trust through exceptional service and technical expertise.
- Supervise survey staff and project teams.
- Mentor and develop survey professionals.
- Support workforce planning and resource management.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Base Salary: Up to $130,000

- Arizona Registered Land Surveyor License ( Non-Negotiable ).
- Minimum ten years of land surveying experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the Public Land Survey System (PLSS).
- Strong understanding of Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards.
- Experience with ALTA/NSPS Survey Standards.
- Experience utilizing Trimble Business Center.
- Experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proven experience managing surveying projects from initiation through completion.
- Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
- Experience preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Experience supervising and mentoring surveying staff.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Stable employment history.
- U.S. citizen authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience supporting municipal surveying projects.
- Experience within civil engineering consulting environments.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent surveying projects.
- Established relationships within Arizona development, municipal, or engineering markets.
- Business development and client growth experience.
- Experience leading high-performing survey teams.
- Strong technical review and quality assurance capabilities.
- Active Arizona Registered Land Surveyor credentials.
- More than ten years of progressive surveying experience.
- Extensive project management leadership.
- Proven success managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona surveying regulations and standards.
- Expertise with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
- Experience supporting complex ALTA/NSPS projects.
- Strong staff development and mentorship capabilities.
- Stable career progression with respected engineering or surveying organizations.
- Experience with firms such as AECOM, Kimley-Horn, WSP, HDR, Stantec, or established Arizona-based surveying and civil engineering firms.
- No Arizona Registered Land Surveyor License.
- Less than ten years of land surveying experience.
- No project management experience.
- Limited knowledge of PLSS or Arizona survey standards.
- No ALTA/NSPS survey experience.
- Limited experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Jumpy or inconsistent employment history.
- Lack of leadership or staff management experience.
- Candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
