Your mission

This is a 12 hour shift position (4-3-3-4) . You’ll be the point leader for multiple production areas, balancing schedules, equipment efficiency, and product introductions. You’ll coach, assign, inspect, and develop a team while personally diving into tasks that move the work forward. You’ll rally cross-functional partners to solve problems fast and communicate priorities that keep everyone focused.

How you’ll lead

  • Turn plant objectives into department roadmaps with clear targets and accountability.
  • Own shift execution across production departments; monitor KPIs and elevate performance.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups with peer functions; share technical information and schedules.
  • Troubleshoot quality, performance, and downtime issues quickly and decisively.
  • Champion cost reduction, continuous improvement, and change management initiatives.
  • Train employees on new processes, procedures, and equipment; sustain open dialogue one-on-one and in groups.
  • Promote a safe, orderly workplace with consistent housekeeping and safety compliance.
  • Lead or support investigations to resolve product or process performance concerns.
  • Uphold ISO 9000 and AS9100 standards; participate actively in plant meetings.

What it takes

  • BS/BA in Engineering or Supply Chain Management; equivalent experience welcomed.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (quality, engineering, or operations).
  • 2+ years of supervisory/manager experience.
  • Data-savvy: chart, interpret, and act on trends and relationships.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; effective across diverse teams and leadership levels.
  • Detail-driven; fluent in Microsoft Office, electronic document management, and ERP platforms.

Bonus points

  • Hands-on leadership in manual assembly or machining environments.
  • Ability to organize complex work and present clearly to varied audiences.
  • Performance Excellence experience; Green Belt in DMAIC, Six Sigma, or Lean.
  • Experience with SAP ERP.

Travel may be required (5-10%).

Rewards that matter

The range for this position is $61,849.00 - $88,000.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
