Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager

Location: Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

Position Overview:

The Food & Beverage Manager at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including the grill, beverage cart, golf events with food service, and daily service. This role is hands-on, leading a small team in a high-volume golf environment. The manager ensures excellent guest experiences, smooth operations, and adherence to Thompson Golf Group values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including grill, bar, and on-course service.
• Lead, train, schedule, and supervise a small F&B team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, receiving, and cost controls to ensure profitability.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws.
• Partner with the Head Golf Professional and Superintendent to coordinate food and beverage support for tournaments and events.
• Assist with event planning, setup, and execution for banquets, tournaments, and special functions.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally to maintain service standards.
• Create and enforce staff policies, ensuring professionalism and accountability.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training for seasonal and part-time staff.
• Work hands-on in all areas when needed, setting the standard for service and teamwork.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of food and beverage management or supervisory experience, preferably in a golf, club, or hospitality setting.
• Title 4 Manager & Basic Liquor Training Certification
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification
• Strong leadership and team development skills, with ability to motivate and manage a small staff.
• Knowledge of Toast POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona Food Handler’s.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, hands-on role with weekends and holidays required.
• Active involvement in daily operations; not just an administrative position.
• Small team setting—must be flexible and collaborative.
