  • Monitor operational performance against plan and recommend corrective actions to achieve production and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with geology, operations, processing, maintenance, environmental, and finance teams to ensure integrated mine planning and execution.
  • Analyze production, cost, and equipment performance data to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management, corporate leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to mine engineers, planners, and other technical personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize mine planning and engineering software to develop accurate designs, schedules, and operational analyses.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive mining experience, including mine planning, operations support, and mine engineering responsibilities.
  • Strong background in open-pit mining operations, mine design, and production optimization.

  • Experience analyzing large datasets and utilizing data-driven approaches to improve performance.
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems, dispatch systems, Trimble technologies, and AutoCAD is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and project management capabilities.
