The hours are: Mon - Fri 7am - 3:30pm
The Phlebotomy Tech will be a key member of our small outpatient clinic team, specializing in blood collection and specimen handling. This role focuses strictly on blood draws, requiring precision and adherence to aseptic techniques in a fast-paced clinical setting. The position involves fixed day shifts and demands a detail-oriented professional capable of maintaining high standards of patient preparation and data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collection using venipuncture methods
- Handle and process specimens accurately
- Prepare patients for blood draws ensuring comfort and safety
- Accurately enter data and maintain patient records
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in phlebotomy
- Certificate in Phlebotomy or related field
- Phlebotomy Certification (CPT, PBT, or equivalent)
- Proficient in venipuncture procedures
- Experience in specimen processing
- Skilled in aseptic technique
- Strong attention to detail
