Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer– Industrial, Manufacturing

A CI Engineer is responsible for management of new equipment installations at all locations, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical projects and upgrades. Will report directly to the Director of Quality while working with technical and operations to ensure existing lines are running at full potential.

What you would be doing as a CI Engineer:

A CI engineer will work with Automation Department, IT, Continuous Improvement, Quality, and Corporate Technical to oversee and complete upgrade and new equipment projects throughout the company.

•  Utilize Maintenance Management Software
• Assess and improve Quality processes at the floor level
• Audit and improve upon plant and department technology knowledge
• Create, oversee, and complete project plans for Continuous Improvement for technology, equipment, and electrical and mechanical upgrades
• Research and uphold compliance and safety regulations during creation and implementation of project plans
• Document, report, and communicate budgets, plans, timeline, and necessary adjustments to management team
• Perform statistical analysis, CAPA implementation, root cause analysis, and investigations on a regular basis

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in project management and/or industrial food manufacturing environment
• Availability for travel
• Knowledge of Maintenance Management Software
• Data Analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical schematics and prints
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and investigation
• Electrical and Mechanical knowledge background and experience preferred
• Juice and aseptic manufacturing experience preferred
