Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position in San Tan Valley, AZ offers a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to supporting pediatric and school-aged clients. The role requires thorough evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and delivering targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language disorders. You will play a vital part in monitoring and documenting patient progress while working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, engaging and educating families ensures a holistic approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with patient goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with educators, healthcare professionals, and other specialists
- Actively involve and educate families in therapeutic interventions and progress
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the respective state
- Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
