As an Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in protecting public health and the environment by ensuring industrial wastewater meets regulatory standards before entering treatment systems. As an Electrical Systems Coordinator , based in Tucson, AZ, you'll provide leadership and oversight for the maintenance, repair, installation, and reliability of electrical infrastructure and distribution systems. You'll manage electrical work orders, coordinate contractors, oversee procurement activities, develop project scopes, and ensure electrical projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You'll contribute to the success of facility operations by maintaining system reliability, supporting capital improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance, repair, replacement, and improvement activities involving electrical distribution systems and facility electrical infrastructure.

• Provide oversight and coordination for planned and emergency electrical work occurring during weekends, holidays, and after-hours to ensure operational continuity, system reliability, and safety compliance.

• Review, prioritize, and manage electrical work orders from initiation through completion.

• Develop and administer preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

• Manage electrical contractors, including scope development, bid reviews, scheduling, quality assurance, and performance evaluation.

• Coordinate electrical projects, shutdowns, outages, tie-ins, and system modifications while minimizing operational impacts.

• Monitor the operation and condition of switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, motor control centers, panelboards, lighting systems, and associated electrical equipment.

• Investigate electrical failures and operational issues, implement corrective actions, and verify successful resolution.

• Generate and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contractor proposals, invoices, and project expenditures.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, company policies, and established procedures.

• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders, asset information, maintenance activities, and project documentation.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance history, contractor activities, equipment inventories, and project files.

• Support asset management, lifecycle planning, reliability initiatives, and energy-efficiency improvements.

• Communicate project status, maintenance requirements, operational risks, and infrastructure needs to management and stakeholders.

• Respond to emergency electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions as required.

• Participate in safety meetings, outage planning, and operational coordination activities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll need

• Minimum of five years of experience managing, coordinating, or overseeing electrical maintenance, construction, or facility operations activities.

• Working knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.

• Experience managing contractors, service providers, electrical projects, and procurement activities.

• Experience utilizing CMMS and maintenance management systems.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

• Valid driver's license.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Associate degree, technical training, or equivalent experience in electrical systems, facilities management, or a related field.

• Experience with medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.

• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and industry best practices.

• Experience developing project scopes, administering purchase orders, and managing maintenance and capital budgets.

• Knowledge of generator systems, emergency power systems, UPS systems, lighting controls, and building automation systems.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CMMS platforms, project management software, and procurement systems.

• Certification as a Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Inspector, Electrical Contractor, or equivalent credential.

80,600.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

83,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $83,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
