POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist the General Manager in overseeing and coordinating the activities of different departments within the organization. Help develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals and targets. Collaborate with department heads to ensure effective and efficient operations across all business areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations and Management:

  • Supervise and Train Staff: The AGM supervises, mentors, and trains departmental managers and staff, ensuring they are competent and providing constructive feedback.
  • Daily Operations: Ensures that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Customer Service: Ensures exceptional customer service and addresses customer feedback and complaints.
  • Inventory Management: Oversees inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and orders are placed efficiently.
  • Enforce Policies: Enforces company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Communication: Facilitates communication between the team and top-level management, keeping everyone informed and aligned.

Financial and Strategic Support:

  • Budgeting and Reporting: Assists with budgeting, reporting, and financial performance analysis.
  • Strategic Planning: Assists the General Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitors performance and key metrics, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action.
  • Vendor Relationships: Cultivates robust partnerships with vendors and service providers.
  • Compliance: Ensures adherence to company policies, regulations, and quality standards.

Other Potential Duties:

  • Recruiting and Hiring: May be involved in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
  • Scheduling: Creates staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Administrative Tasks: May perform administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, or preparing reports.
  • Customer-Facing Responsibilities: May be responsible for helping customers with inquiries, resolving issues, or ensuring overall satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to lead teams, motivate employees, and set a positive example.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with staff and management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems, make decisions, and implement solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, collaborate with others, and resolve conflicts.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, especially in customer-facing industries.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
