Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional independence across multiple care settings, including:

• Acute hospital
• Acute rehabilitation
• Inpatient medical-surgical
• Outpatient services

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering therapeutic interventions that support activities of daily living
• Promoting patient safety and participation in meaningful routines
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams
• Educating patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Supporting a safe and effective treatment environment

Must-Have Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or acute care settings
