Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Hygiene License

Dental Hygiene Experience (minimum 2 years)

CPR Certification

JOB DESCRIPTION

The dental hygienist is upbeat and nurturing by nature. You are in a special position to provide our patients with the most important health service we can – the prevention of disease. This approach to preventative care is in the patients’ best interest, at a time when periodontal disease is one of the most troublesome and prevalent oral disorders in our community.

You provide the practice a philosophical backdrop for ongoing care through patient education and reinforcement of the doctor’s treatment plan. You understand the value of preserving patient relationships, accurate records, and patient flow.

The hygienist will implement a hygiene program that reflects the importance of early diagnosis and optimal non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease. He or She uses leadership skills, professionalism, discretion, integrity, honesty, and dedication to encourage clinical adeptness, teamwork, and communication with the patients and team.
