Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.

• Set personal performance goals and strive to meet or exceed them.

• Educate patients on exercises and techniques to improve mobility.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Engage in regular feedback sessions to improve skills and performance.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.

• Adhere to safety and health regulations during patient care.

• Assist in the evaluation of patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness.

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Goal-oriented approach with a focus on achieving performance targets.

• Experience in a clinical setting assisting physical therapists.

• Ability to monitor and document patient progress accurately.

• Strong communication skills to educate patients effectively.

• Team-oriented mindset to support a collaborative work environment.

• Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

• Familiarity with safety and health regulations in patient care.

• Ability to set up and maintain therapy equipment effectively.
