Job Title: Electrical Estimator - Data Centers

Location (city, state): Gilbert, AZ (Onsite)

Compensation: $95,000 – $120,000 DOE

Industry: Electrical / Mechanical Construction

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client in the construction industry to identify an experienced Estimator. This individual will play a key role in the preconstruction process, ensuring accurate bids and cost projections to support business growth and project success.

Job Description:

The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing plans, evaluating labor and material needs, and preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to analyze technical drawings, and sound judgment when determining project feasibility and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and codes to develop accurate project estimates
• Calculate required materials, equipment, and labor for electrical projects
• Prepare competitive and compliant bids in line with company standards
• Monitor labor and material pricing trends to maintain accurate cost databases
• Provide recommendations to optimize project efficiency and profitability
• Collaborate with preconstruction and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope and estimates
• Evaluate whether to build in-house or subcontract certain project components

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of commercial estimating and project management experience within electrical construction
• Solid understanding of electrical trade practices and NEC codes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software such as Accubid
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for precise estimating
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
