Assembler – Large Component Handling

We are looking for an experienced Assembler to join our team in Mesa 2 . This role involves complex mechanical assembly of large components and subassemblies , requiring precision, safety, and leadership skills. If you have experience handling oversized parts and mentoring others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Execute advanced assembly tasks, including large component assembly.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve assembly issues.
• Train and mentor junior assemblers on techniques, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to resolve design/manufacturing issues.
• Conduct final quality inspections and testing.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials.
• Assist with setup and operation of automated/semi-automated equipment.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles and suggest improvements.

Schedule:

• Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No Fridays)
• Occasional overtime on Fridays/weekends

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience , including leadership or team supervision.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle large, heavy components safely.

Pay Rate:

• $20/hr for 2+ years of experience
• $23/hr for 4–5+ years of experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
