It is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals.
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst for Oracle eBusiness Systems, release R12.2.10+. This person will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide technical support for developing and supporting customizations and extensions covering modules in Finance or Oracle Projects applications. This position will support our business users, participate in all relevant changes management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team.
Job Description
- Provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules.
- Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
- Conducts effective user demonstrations and training of the application features.
- Document functional and technical designs, providing clarity on roles and data flow between the systems or within the application modules.
- Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
- Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
- Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions.
- Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.
- Good team player who steps up, shows initiation and shares learning and experience with the team.
- Detailed hands-on development using Apex, AME (Approvals Management Engine), and Oracle Workflow
- Building and modifying complex transaction screens and approval workflows (including serial/parallel approvals)
- Customization using Oracle AOL, responsibility setups, menus, and concurrent programs
- Specific workflow experience (AP Invoice, GL Journal, iExpense approvals)
- Creation of training materials and user testing support
- Strong emphasis on recent R12.2+ on-prem EBS experience
- Clear exclusion criteria (e.g., DBA-focused candidates, dashboard-only Apex experience, limited end-to-end process knowledge)
Skills Required
- At least five years of experience programming extensions and customizations in Oracle Finance and/or Oracle Projects using release 12.2+ is required.
- 5+ years of Oracle Apex UI development experience is required.
- Experience programming custom workflows using Oracle Workflow Builder is required.
- Must have experience using and configuring systematic approvals using Approvals Management Engine (AME).
- Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Degree or GED
