Medical Assistant - Performance, Pain & Regenerative Medicine

A leading naturopathic and regenerative medicine clinic in Scottsdale is seeking a Medical Assistant to support its advanced therapies. The clinic specializes in shockwave therapy, peptide therapy, pain management, and performance optimization, serving athletes, active adults, and individuals seeking non-surgical, integrative wellness solutions.

Position Overview:

The Medical Assistant will provide clinical support, ensure excellent patient care, and assist providers in delivering regenerative and performance-focused treatments. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Support
• Room patients, obtain vitals, and document medical histories
• Assist providers with shockwave therapy, peptide therapy, pain management procedures, and other regenerative treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterile environments
• Support injections, IV therapies, and phlebotomy (per certification and state regulations)
• Monitor patient comfort during and after procedures
• Accurately document treatments in the EMR
• Patient Care
• Deliver high-quality patient experience
• Educate patients on treatment plans, peptide protocols, recovery instructions, and post-procedure care
• Coordinate follow-ups to ensure continuity of care
• Administrative Support
• Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and communication
• Maintain inventory of peptides, injectables, and clinical supplies
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate record-keeping

Qualifications:

• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience (pain management, integrative medicine, sports medicine, or regenerative therapies preferred)
• Experience with injections and phlebotomy strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional, polished demeanor
• EMR proficiency
