Submission Process: Profile Review + Manager Interview. Clinician must pass a Dysrhythmia Exam (80%) within 2 attempts before signing the contract. Failure results in DNU for CS AZ & Sacramento for 6 months. Radius Rule: 50 miles from facility Cannot be FT/PT/PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year Cannot have worked perm at any CommonSpirit facility in the last 12 months Unit: Multi Care Unit (ICU/PCU/MST combined) Beds: 10 Ratios: ICU 1:2 | PCU 1:4 | MST 1:5–6 Certifications: BLS, ACLS Common Cases: Sepsis, COPD, respiratory arrest, pneumonia, COVID, DKA, substance withdrawal, suicide attempts, abnormal BP/HR, post-op complications. Experience: 2 years ICU preferred Or 1 year ICU + 1 year PCU/Med-Surg in large facility with strong skills Skills: Titrate drips (sedation, vasopressors, insulin) Read tele strips & perform 12-lead EKG Unit Info: Charge RN oversees 50 inpatient beds (MST, PEDS, MCU) NAs handle 10–15 patients; if none, RN takes 3 primary care patients RT support for vents, CPAP, BiPAP Remote monitor techs for PCU/MST Schedule: 12-hr shifts: 0700–1930 / 1900–0730 Weekend: Every other Holiday: Rotational Floating: Adult MST & Pediatric unit (adult assignments) West Campus (Prescott) ICU/PCU if needed (2-hour notice) Other: Scrubs: Any color except camouflage Standby: Possible if low census Orientation: Hospital + Unit orientation.
