**Job Title: Clean Room Sort & Tally** **Job Description** This position involves the refurbishment of surgical instruments through a meticulous cleaning and sorting process. Candidates must be comfortable working with surgical instruments that have been used post-surgery. **Responsibilities** + Sort and tally surgical instruments, ensuring they are properly refurbished. + Move cases of instruments through a metal detector before cleaning. + Gown up in clean room gear at the start of each shift. + Transport bins weighing up to 50 pounds into a dishwasher-style unit. + Perform manual sorting, cleaning, power washing, and chemical cleaning of instruments. + Label and sort cleaned instruments into appropriate bins. + Sweep daily and mop twice per week as part of an all-hands duty. **Essential Skills** + Ability to stand for the entire shift. + Willingness and capability to gown up in clean room gear. + Quality mindset and attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Entry-level candidates are welcome; no specific experience is required. + No high school diploma or GED required, but these are necessary for advancement to supervisory roles. + Must be open to cross-training in other core competencies. + Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. + Comfortable working in a sterile environment with slight background noise. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy guaranteed wage increases upon direct hire, competitive health benefits, immediate 401(k) eligibility with matching contributions, and participation in a free well-being program. Employees are required to wear full clean room attire, including smock, booties, gloves, beard net, hair net, plastic visor, and safety glasses. The dress code requires closed-toed tennis shoes and plain shirts. Shifts are available from 5 AM to 1:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
