Responsibilities:
As our Medical Customer Experience Representative, you will:
- Offer superior patient interaction experiences by addressing inbound calls with professionalism and compassion.
- Exhibit stellar conflict resolution skills by calmly de-escalating challenging situations with dissatisfied patients, providing solutions and comfort.
- Initiate outbound calls to patients and healthcare facilities for appointment rescheduling and information gathering.
- Collaborate with our talented call center team to continually enhance patient services and professional development.
- Efficiently triage patient calls, directing concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of commercial health insurance and essential medical terminology.
- Uphold a gold standard of customer service at all times.
- Safeguard sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA protocols.
Requirements:
- Experience with ENT or Sleep Centers is a huge plus!
- Practical knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Proficiency in databases, and EHR systems.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- High-level computer literacy and effective multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient knowledge across all insurance types.
- Impeccable organization skills with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with AthenaHealth systems is preferred.
