Pay Rate: $60 - $63 / hour

Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports daily clinical operations staff supervision and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality patient care. This role assists the Director of Nursing provides leadership to nursing teams and helps manage HR functions and emergency response activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and adjust nursing schedules to maintain proper coverage.

• Monitor clinical quality performance and compliance; implement improvements.

• Train coach and supervise nursing staff to meet care standards.

• Support hiring evaluations coaching and disciplinary actions.

• Respond to urgent issues including allegations of abuse neglect or emergency service involvement.

• Communicate daily with DON/Administrator; serve as acting DON when needed.

• Provide on-unit support and participate in AMS and leadership initiatives.

• Maintain required credentials AZ RN license Fingerprint Clearance Card and TB compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership/supervisory experience.

• Active RN license in Arizona.

• Strong clinical skills leadership ability and sound judgment.
