Accounts Payable Manager FT Days Position Summary

Manages day to day operations to include planning, organizing and directing all aspects of Accounts Payable activities for the Service Center in

accordance with Tenet policies and generally accepted accounting principles. Responsible for accounts payable processing, productivity and

quality metrics, hiring, training managing and evaluating staff. Builds and maintains relationships with peers, facility departments heads, and

material management teams. Represents the Service Center in meetings and is responsible for continuous process improvement and compliance

with all policies and procedures, while building a positive and efficient work environment.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to work across all levels of the organization to effectively resolve issues and improve processes in a timely manner.

Ability to lead and develop staff

SUPERVISES: Accounts Payable staff

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 5 years of Accounts Payable and 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years of hospital Accounts Payable
