Position: 1 Opening
Pay Rate: $35.43/hour
Location: On-site (candidates should be local)

Overview:
Seeking an Engineer to join our Military Fixed Wing team. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to execute Requirements-Based Engineering (RBE) and engine systems development for military gas turbine engines. You will help ensure compliance with systems plans, maintain requirements structures in DOORS NG, execute validation activities, and support the development of product requirements specifications. You will also participate in major system reviews, including the System Requirements Review (SRR).

2. Describe your experience with CAMEO, DOORS, DOORS NG, or other requirements management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support requirements development and execution
• Assist in the development and execution of system plans, including the System Development Plan and Requirements Management Verification and Validation Plan (RMVVP)
• Support engine system architecture development, design, and execution
• Contribute to program success for assigned modules or systems
• Demonstrate leadership within a diverse, cross-functional team
• Escalate issues effectively with leadership
• Commit to customer satisfaction
• Promote creative thinking and innovation in product design and daily work
• Maintain working knowledge of and commitment to IPDS processes
• Build strong team relationships
• Identify gaps and risks on behalf of the team
• Support schedules and budgeted time for assigned work scope

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status due to U.S. export control laws
• 5+ years of systems or aerospace experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications / We Value:

• Experience with DOORS NG, MBSE, SysML, and/or CAMEO
• Prior systems engineering experience through industry work or education/training
• Ability to manage and execute complex projects efficiently
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully
• Ability to escalate issues effectively within leadership and cross-functional teams
• Focus on results and effective project execution
• Aerospace or Systems Engineering degree
