Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the oversight and organization of project control documents. This role is integral to project communication, project administration, and document control. If you’re passionate about construction management, skilled in document control and scheduling, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—this position is for you! Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and organize submittals, RFI’s, show drawings, plan logs, permit logs, procurement logs, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate and input schedules, safety inspections, and quality checks
- Manage meeting minutes
- Ensure all trades, systems, and sources have been fully examined for compliance, coordination, and appropriate approvals
- Provide support to project management and superintendents
- Experience: 2+ years in construction or related field, and/or bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related discipline. Extensive knowledge of multiple project types and trades, primarily Tenant Improvements. Participate in mid-size projects to large size projects.
- Systems Knowledge: Proficient in Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, AutoCAD (viewing)
- Skills: Proficient in plan reading, technical reading and writing, and critical thinking
- Attributes: Dedicated, resourceful, articulate, curious, analytical, reliable, organized, punctual.
- Reports to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and/or Division Manager
- Desk and computer-based work.
- Inspect job sites: walk 2-3 miles, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Commute to job sites
- Work in a growing and supportive environment
