Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join one of our healthcare clients on an interim basis. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to critical year-end processes while working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and be ready to start immediately, collaborating closely with Mountain Time Zone schedules. Responsibilities: - Manage intercompany accounting transactions and ensure accurate reconciliations. - Prepare and process journal entries, including accruals, reversals, prepaid expenses, and other general ledger entries. - Record and calculate fixed asset expenses and depreciation. - Handle credit card receipts and oversee expense reporting processes. - Assist in the preparation and finalization of year-end financial reporting. - Create journal entry templates and streamline recurring entries for efficiency. - Update and support policies related to the 1099 clearing process. - Collaborate on process improvements to optimize accounting workflows. Requirements - At least 5 years of accounting experience, with expertise in general ledger management. - Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, prepaid expenses, accruals, and journal entries. - Proficiency with D365 (Dynamics 365) is highly preferred. - Ability to work effectively within Mountain Time Zone schedules. - Immediate availability to start the role. - Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations. - Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and depreciation calculations.
