Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Special Education licensure (AZ SPED)
• Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Experience teaching math within a special education setting
• Strong collaborative, communication, and classroom management skills
• Ability to co-teach and adapt lessons for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Co-deliver instruction in designated math classes alongside another certified teacher
• Adapt and modify curriculum to accommodate individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Use data-driven techniques and differentiated strategies to maximize student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere where all learners thrive
• Engage with parents and staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Observe all district, state, and federal guidelines related to special education and teaching practices
