Arizona RN Job Details

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Facility: Community hospital, 40-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Position Type: Locum tenens, Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Shifts: 4 per 4-week schedule
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (adult/geriatric patients)
• Float Requirement: May float to IMC and ED units as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020-$2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (Arizona RN jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Ability to manage a 6-patient assignment
• Strong clinical skills, compassionate and positive attitude
• Preceptor and charge nurse experience preferred

Key RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for cardiac patients
• Care for patients with total joint replacements, post-surgical needs, ACS, CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GI bleeding
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinets, and Zoll defibrillators
• Document patient care accurately in Medhost EHR system
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED) units as needed
• Maintain professional attire (black scrubs required; open shoes not permitted)
