The Position (Job) :
Licensed psychologist, therapist, counselor (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LAC, LAMFT) candidate. (Trauma certified).
The pay for this position is negotiable and based on experience, licensure, need for supervision, and client base.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in psychology, therapy, or counseling (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LAC, LAMFT).
- Holds active Arizona state licensure.
- Holds active malpractice liability insurance.
- Proficient fund of knowledge in all areas of psychotherapy, trauma treatments, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
- 5+ years experience working in mental health, either inpatient or outpatient.
- No history of state board disciplinary action or sanction. (If present, then must explain in application submission).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience.
- Proficient in EMR/EHR platforms, especially Athenahealth.
- Must complete clinical notes within 24 hours.
- Experience addressing any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms, including advanced life support certification.
- Willing to travel to more than one office location, if needed.
- Able to work in-office and remote virtual office.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor a patient for psychiatric and mental health symptoms.
- Provide psychotherapy intervention and respond effectively in an emergency situation.
- Effective and efficient clinical documentation of session.
- Proficient in assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Explain and administrative procedures to patients.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
- Be courteous and tactful with patients, visitors, and the public.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Follow established treatment and office procedures.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.
- Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.
- Visual and auditory dexterity.
- Contribute to integrative practice by referring client to other clinic services and professionals.
- Working knowledge of TMS, ketamine, spravato, KAP, psychedelics, integrative care model.
- Provide medical coverage to other licensed professionals.
