We are seeking a dynamic Payroll Relationship Manager to support small and medium-sized business clients with a comprehensive payroll solution. As a Payroll Relationship Manager, you will guide clients through the onboarding, activation, and ongoing support process, ensuring a seamless payroll experience and efficient tax compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Consultation & Solutioning:
- Advise clients on payroll solutions, including payments and payroll support.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Relationship Managers, and Product teams to recommend tailored payroll services.
- Onboarding & Activation:
- Lead the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth setup and activation of the payroll solution.
- Oversee client training on payroll platform features, including integration with tax filing automation.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll clients, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
- Manage client feedback and advocate for process improvements.
- Sales & Cross-Sell:
- Execute product pilots and nurture leads in partnership with Marketing.
- Cross-sell value-added payroll and payment services to existing clients to drive revenue and client loyalty.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance onboarding, activation, and ongoing support processes.
- Contribute to feedback loops with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience and/or a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in merchant services, payroll, or banking.
- Strong tele-sales, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients/projects.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Client-first mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High integrity, professionalism, and risk management awareness.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- 5+ years in payments, payroll, or a related field.
- Success in cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with digital onboarding tools and processes.
- Bilingual abilities.
- Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, PayChex).
- Resourceful in addressing customer needs.
