Handyman/Maintenance Tech w/ Opportunity for Advancement!

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

• Our In House Handyman will be responsible for maintaining our single family rental properties throughout the valley. It will be your responsibility to make sure that our properties are in tip/top shape and that our tenants love us!

• You will receive work orders through our company software and will be responsible for scheduling service with tenant, completing the work order accordingly, keeping our software updated and closing out work orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.

REQUIREMENTS:

• PREMIUM quality work - get the job right the first time!
• Must be a quick thinker, able to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner.
• Must have experience and be skilled in MOST trades. Common jobs include plumbing related items (drains, toilets, garbage disposals, water heaters, etc.), drywall/texture/patch/paint, appliance repair/replacement, etc.
• Fantastic attitude and exemplary customer service and communication
• Must have excellent customer service skills, an outgoing friendly personality, professional presentation and appearance, you will be the face of the company!
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Honest, reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented.
• Spanish not required, but encouraged.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS THE MAJORITY OF THESE SKILLS (and able to learn the rest):

• Light Framing and Carpentry
• Drywall Repair and Texturing
• Painting
• Flooring Removal and Installation (Vinyl, Tile and Carpet)
• Cabinet installation
• Plumbing: Faucets, Toilets, Laundry, Tub/Shower (valves, spouts, drains, etc)
• Pipe sweating/soldering
• Electrical: outlets/lights/fans/TV's
• Lighting Solutions: New Installations, Conversions, and Repairs
• Ceiling Fans: Installation, Pre-wiring, and Repairs
• Doors/Locks: Install, Replace, Repair
• Patio Door Rollers and Parts: Install, Replace, Repair
• Garage Door Repairs: Panels, Rollers, Automatic Openers, Weather Seals and Trim
• Appliance Repair and/or Installation (garbage disposals, dishwashers, microwaves, water softeners)
• Light Remodeling (Bathrooms and Kitchens)
• Masonry
• HVAC (not required, but is preferred)
• Roofing (not required, but is preferred)
