Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a School Behavior Specialist to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students with behavioral or social‑emotional needs in a school setting.

• Strong understanding of behavior strategies, de‑escalation, and positive behavior supports.

• Ability to collect and document behavior data accurately.

• Effective communication and collaboration with teachers and school staff.

• High school diploma required; many districts prefer related college coursework.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior plans and support students throughout the school day.

• Assist with de‑escalation and maintain a safe, structured environment.

• Collect and report behavior data to the school team.

• Support students during transitions, specials, lunch, and recess.

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure consistent behavior support.
