Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Type: Contract
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
- On-Call: Required on scheduled workdays
- Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Echo/Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, Obstetric (OB), and General Ultrasound examinations. This role requires the ability to work independently, perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality echocardiography and diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders.
- Conduct vascular, obstetric (OB), and general ultrasound studies with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound and echocardiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate image quality and ensure studies are complete before submission for interpretation.
- Document examination findings accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) and imaging systems.
- Follow established safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
- Participate in on-call coverage during scheduled workdays.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, cardiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and examination rooms to ensure efficient department operations.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
Experience
- Recent experience performing:
- Echocardiography
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Obstetric (OB) Ultrasound
- General Ultrasound
- Candidates must be proficient in all three ultrasound modalities (Vascular, OB, and General Ultrasound) in addition to echocardiography.
- Current ARDMS and/or ARRT (Sonography) certification, or equivalent credentials as required by state and facility guidelines.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or required based on facility policy.

- 13-week contract assignment.
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.
- On-call coverage is required during scheduled workdays.
