Senior Java Microservices Spring Boot Developer

: Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer - In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including; elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java 8, Microservices and Spring Boot
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in a Java 8 or later, Spring boot, Hibernate, SOAP Web services
• Experience in application design, software development, and testing, in an Agile environment.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs for high volume consumers
• Experience with continuous integration tools & container orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Experience working with asynchronous messaging systems like Kafka is a Plus
• Experience with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools (JIRA, Rally, Confluence, etc.), a plus.
• Knowledge of financial industry
• Experience with open-source frameworks is a plus especially maintaining or contributing to open-source projects!
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
