Job Title: Chemical Operator (Forklift Operator)
Location: Glendale, AZ 85301
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (8–10 hours/day, occasional overtime) Job Overview We are looking for a motivated and safety-focused Chemical Operator to join our team in Glendale, AZ. Our company specializes in handling liquid chlorine and caustic soda, chemicals vital for water treatment plants to ensure safe and clean water. This role is ideal for someone passionate about safety, growth, and taking on new responsibilities over time. Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to safely transport materials, including liquid chlorine and caustic soda
• Paint gas and liquid cylinders to company and regulatory standards
• Safely handle and assist in processes involving essential chemicals for water treatment applications
• Adhere to strict safety protocols due to hazardous materials handled
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support team operations and respond positively to new assignments
• Remain flexible and eager to learn new skills as job requirements evolve

Qualifications

• Proven sit-down forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Excellent attendance record, reliability, and punctuality
• Strong interest in learning new skills and expanding job duties
• Safety-first work ethic, especially regarding hazardous materials
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Willingness to work in a team environment and take on expanding responsibilities
• Experience with gas or liquid cylinders and valves is a plus but not required
