About This Role

We are an Ahwatukee Preschool in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to teaching young children through the Montessori philosophy and full Language Immersion. We offer a unique advantage by giving our children the ability to read, write, and speak in Mandarin, Spanish, and English. Our curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in academics, social, emotional, physical, and moral/ethical development.

As an authentic Montessori school, we encourage independence, self-motivation, and decision-making skills in our children. Our teaching teams celebrate diversity and use culturally responsive and positive discipline approaches to develop positive self-concept in each child.

We are seeking an experienced Infant Montessori teacher who speaks Spanish fluently for a full-time teaching position at Amici Trilingual Montessori. As a certified Lead Montessori Teacher, you will help our children develop essential skills and create a positive, nurturing environment.

Your goals as a Lead Montessori Teacher include:

• Build social and emotional skills by encouraging positive relationships and modeling behaviors.
• Foster creative abilities and fine motor skills through Montessori activities.
• Enhance large motor skills through outdoor play and movement activities.
• Encourage a love and respect for nature, self, and the environment.

Your role as a Montessori Teacher requires that you:

• Set the standard for high-quality early childhood education.
• Implement culturally responsive techniques in education.
• Prepare the classroom environment to support the Montessori Philosophy.
• Participate in maintaining AMS membership.
• Establish positive communication with families and maintain a safe environment.

• Greeting Parents and communicating with them effectively.
• Providing basic care for infants, including feeding and changing.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating Procare as necessary.
• Communicating with the lead teacher to ensure a cohesive teaching environment.
• Utilizing Spanish to engage with infants and promote language development.
• Cleaning and maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Performing any other duties as required in the classroom.

• Do you have a valid fingerprint clearance card?

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Montessori: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Required)

• Montessori Certification (Preferred)

• Work Location: In person

• Montessori Certification: AMS or AMI Credential in Infant/Toddler.
• Extensive knowledge of the Montessori Method.

• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
