Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Physical Therapist is needed for the 2026/2027 school year on a contract basis, providing essential services to a diverse student population near Vail, AZ. Desired Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to identify physical therapy needs within the educational setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student mobility and participation in school activities
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services in classrooms and therapy spaces
• Monitor student progress, adapting interventions as needed
• Document services and progress accurately to comply with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance students’ functional abilities throughout the school day
