APN Staffing is now hiring for an RN's (Home Health not clinical based) position for our client. This position is Monday-Friday with hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no weekends/or evenings) 40 hours. PAID DRIVE TIME you don't have to worry about trip time/charges etc. This is a very unique position working out in the field as the RN is responsible for driving a company vehicle (Company Vehicle is provided ) and visiting/providing care to patients in their homes (13-15 patients a week) in the same rotation. This is a long-term contract position, the hourly rate of pay is $55.00 per hour. Possible perm for the right candidate.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit
Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs
Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress
Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies
Assist Health Representatives with their patients (answer questions if there is a low blood pressure etc)
Provide direct patient care - medication management, case management and wound care
Test for muscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection
Educate caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient

REQUIREMENTS:

A degree in Licensed Registered Nursing from an accredited college or university AND certification as a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required
AZ fingerprint clearance card
Home Health & Hospice background is highly desired
Wound Care Certified desired
Detail oriented with medical chart documentation
Proof of valid car insurance/drivers license
