Job Description:

The Patient Registrar will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring accurate registration, exceptional customer service, and efficient front-desk operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining smooth patient flow and supporting emergency department operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Register patients at the front desk and within the emergency department
• Verify, collect, and update patient demographic information
• Obtain required signatures and ensure completion of all registration documentation
• Enter and update patient information within the electronic tracking system
• Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable using computer systems and learning new technology
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and friendly in stressful situations
• Confident handling patient interactions and resolving concerns respectfully
