Project Engineer
Location: Mesa, Arizona (In-Office)
Salary: Starting at $90,000, commensurate with experience
Relocation: Considered for the right candidate
Role Overview:
We are excited to invite applications from experienced Project Engineers with a focus on civil/site development. This role demands an in-office presence in Mesa, AZ, and offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of impactful land development projects spanning commercial, industrial, retail, and multi-family sectors. Ideal candidates will thrive in a detail-oriented environment that balances technical challenges with client interaction.
Core Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of land development initiatives.
- Work alongside Project Managers to coordinate project tasks, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Create and assess site plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
- Track project milestones, address challenges, and support problem-solving efforts.
- Assist in managing project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance.
- Perform site inspections to confirm adherence to design standards.
- Engage in client-facing duties as opportunities arise, based on skills and interest.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil/site land development, with a preference for those with 6 or more years.
- Expertise in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possession of a P.E. license or ability to obtain one within 12 months.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Project Focus:
The role involves working on projects ranging from master-planned communities to intricate commercial, industrial, and multi-family developments. A significant focus is placed on drainage and roadway infrastructure design for private sector clients.
