We are hiring immediately for Medical Scheduling Intake Coordinators to manage patient scheduling for our infusion center. You’ll coordinate labs, office and telehealth visits, infusions, and financial assistance, ensuring smooth communication between patients, providers, and internal teams. This position will be onsite 5 days a week during the probationary period and then turn hybrid only working onsite 2 days a week after that. Must live within 25 miles of zip code 85054 and have experience in working in a healthcare or medical office setting. Pay Range: $22-$23/hour DOE

Training & Post-Training Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

What You’ll Do:

• Schedule and update patient appointments for labs, visits, and treatments.
• Handle cancellations, reschedules, and urgent scheduling needs.
• Communicate with physician offices for records and refills.
• Help patients understand insurance coverage and assist with copay/financial aid programs.
• Coordinate with intake, billing, and authorization teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage incoming calls and medication shipments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all company and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with medical scheduling, insurance verification, or patient coordination preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office, specialty pharmacy, infusion center, or healthcare intake setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills, and problem-solving ability.

• Proficiency with EMR systems and insurance portals.

• Knowledge of insurance benefits, prior authorization, and copay assistance program processes.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
