We are currently seeking a meticulous and efficient Clerk Typist to join our team on a full-time basis at our office in Phoenix, Arizona, United States .

The successful candidate will be a vital part of our administrative team, responsible for providing comprehensive clerical and typing support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a high degree of accuracy. The offered compensation for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour .

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, type, and format a variety of documents, including correspondence, reports, memos, and forms with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into company databases and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other communications.
  • Answer telephone calls, provide information to callers, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a clerk typist, data entry, or similar administrative role.
  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy are essential for this position.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
