Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and other acute or chronic wounds.
- Provide comprehensive wound and ostomy care, including treatment, monitoring, and documentation; teach patients and families about care, supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient needs, select appropriate dressings and products, and adjust care plans to optimize healing.
- Educate patients and families on wound care, ostomy management, infection prevention, and when to seek follow-up care; facilitate discharge planning as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, outcomes, and supply usage; ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
- Wound Care Certification required (mandatory) with minimum 3 years of wound care experience
- American Heart Association BLS required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience and competency in ostomy and wound care management
- Ability to work in a hospital-based wound care setting with Monday–Friday day shift
