Job Description
Join our team as an Aerospace Assembler where you will play a crucial role in the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components. You will be working on-site at a prominent facility near Sky Harbor Airport, providing support to major clients in the aerospace industry. Your expertise in reading blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be essential for the successful assembly of built components and parts.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and SOPs to assemble components.
- Complete assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque to assemble parts.
- Conduct electric bond checks to ensure component integrity.
- Understand and apply Honeywell specifications in assembly processes.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment is highly preferred.
- 2-3 years of assembly experience, especially with large parts.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and torque applications.
- Experience in automotive or other relevant industries is acceptable.
- Understanding of Honeywell specifications is a plus.
- Basic quality verification practices, including torque settings, electric bond checks, and dimensional measurements.
- Adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Work Environment
The work environment is an aerospace manufacturing setting located on-site at a major facility near Sky Harbor Airport. The team is tightly-knit and follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Candidates must be able to train during day shifts for a few weeks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
