Rotating shift 6pm to 6am

Job Description

This role involves the setup, cleanup, and production tasks associated with packing cream cheese products. The machine operator will handle production line equipment including packers, positive pumps, processors, and labelers, ensuring efficient and quality operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment including packers, positive pumps, processors, and labelers.
• Set up labelers, install heat seals on products, and assemble positive pumps.
• Inspect products and assist with loading cups into boxers.
• Assist with packaging products into boxes for shipping.
• Support other departments by finishing products at any point of the production line.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.
• Ability to operate general labor equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and forklift operation.
• Mechanical skills for efficient machine handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in frequent loading of cups into boxers involving wrist twisting and gripping.
• Capability to assist with packaging and product finishing processes.
• Efficiency in meeting specifications for cup weight, counts, yield, and product codes.

Work Environment

Work in an 80,000 square foot warehouse operating 24/7, with 12-hour shifts on a two-week rotating schedule from 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am, which includes 2 days on, 3 days off, followed by 3 days on, 2 days off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Casa Grande, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $56160.00/yr.
