Tax Senior

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Tax Senior. This role is 100% fully remote, and you can work your own local time zone hours. Summary: We're seeking a strong Tax Senior for one of our top clients - a Tax and Wealth Management professional services firm specializing in tax strategies, tax consulting, tax preparation, and full-service accounting services. This role offers a balance of tax compliance and planning, along with meaningful client interaction and exposure to a variety of industries. As Tax Senior, you will be responsible both for preparing and reviewing federal and state returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals. This serves as a key role in supporting client engagements, working closely with managers and partners while also helping guide and develop associates. • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting or Tax is required
• CPA certification or actively pursuing licensure
• 4 to 6 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting
• Must have strong experience in partnership taxation (at least 30% to 50%+ of previous roles) with good exposure as well to corporate and individual taxation
• Multi-state tax experience
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
