Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Welcome Desk in PHOENIX, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location within a leading financial institution, where you will greet visitors, support access and badge processes, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, stay visible at a key entry point, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and security-related policies.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to control access to authorized areas in accordance with location guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence within a financial services location while following Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
