Job Description
As the shift lead, you will be the main point of contact for the store during the shift. You will be the first to resolve issues above a team members head and willing to lend a helping hand where necessary in shift. You will be responsible for leading your shift and overseeing team members while ensuring a pleasing customer experience while in the store.
- Supervise team member while delegating tasks and duties to be accomplished during shift
- Maintain speed and quality of service for customer satisfaction by moving employees around to best assist the store (example: making/dipping product for purchase VS serving product to customers)
- Respond to in person praise and complaints reasonably
- Train new employees and work with existing employees to ensure ongoing improvement for everyone
- Provide excellent customer service through example and evaluation of team members service level
- Assist team members triaging tasks by level of importance (example: refilling half full soap dispenser that is not urgently needed or refill empty toppings or ice creams in the front room to increase sales/customer experience)
- Help Assistant manager/owners by being diligent with inventory management and quality control to ensure we have products for sale and the items for sale are of premium quality.
