Lab Technician

Job Title : Lab Technician
Location : Oro Valley, AZ
Schedule : M - F, 7am - 4pm
Pay Rate : $20/hr
Type : Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory experiments and research activities
• Prepare lab materials and samples for testing
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
• Assist with data collection and documentation
• Maintain lab inventory and equipment

Requirements

• 0–5 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices

Key Skills Desired:

• ** Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment
• **Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field)
• **Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks.
  

Preferred (Optional)

• Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred
