We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional to take ownership of inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and product operations as a (temporary) Supply Chain Specialist.

Supply Chain Specialist Details:

• Temporary position
• $31.00 to $35.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:00pm )

• Oversee inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, availability, and optimal stock levels.
• Monitor stock movement to prevent overstocking, shortages, and unnecessary carrying costs.
• Lead regular inventory audits and reconciliations in partnership with warehouse/store teams.
• Manage product ordering, order tracking, and vendor communications from purchase order through delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, freight terms, and other purchasing conditions to improve margins.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships while identifying new sourcing and supplier opportunities.
• Align purchasing decisions with demand forecasts, inventory needs, and cash flow priorities.
• Ensure accurate product, pricing, and cost data across internal systems.
• Coordinate pricing updates with sales, finance, and other relevant teams.
• Manage SKU creation and product setup with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Develop reports tracking inventory health, purchasing cadence, vendor performance, and key metrics.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies to improve profitability and operational performance.
• Standardize and improve workflows for inventory control, purchasing, and related processes.

Supply Chain Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience in agricultural/fencing, or livestock-related industries.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Systems Engineering.
